Meet The Team

Todd Cordrey, Founder, Academics Officer & Certified Distance Education Instructor™ CDEI LOGO

Todd Cordrey is a veteran of the real estate industry. He started his career by receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in real estate and finance from New Mexico State University in May of 1991. He is a proponent for continuing education in the industry and has acquired the GRI, ABR, CRS, CRB, MRE, and SRES designations. He has been training new agents through the North Metro Denver Realtor Association’s (NMDRA) orientation class. Most recently, he was hired by the Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR) as a certified provisional instructor. However, his most proud accomplishment in the industry came in September 2004 as he was recognized as “The Realtor of the Year” for 2004 by the North Metro Denver Realtor Association. Read More…


Miles Grandin, In-House Attorney

Heads the Legal Department and is directly responsible for all matters concerning the corporate legal posture and interests of the Company; ensures that the Company’s business, practices, policies and dealings meet regulatory requirements to protect the Company from legal action; manages the Company’s defense, interprets and prepares legal documents and provides counsel to corporate management on legal matters. Provides senior management with effective advice on company strategies and their implementation; manages the legal function and obtains and oversees the work of outside counsel. Tuesday L. Rosales, IT Director

Tuesday Rosales has worked most of her adult life working with computers and programming. After graduating high school at 17, a year early, she developed an interest in computer science and took several programming courses in Pascal and C++ programming languages. As a self taught html/php programmer, she began creating websites and applications in the 1990s. She has held positions as a Project Manager in both the health field and real estate industry. She has knowledge of common and emerging open-source programming languages and software, database and server management. Currently, Tuesday is in charge of American Dream Real Estate School’s web presence, including all sales and training sites, social media, and other supporting web channels (e.g. mobile) and enterprise-wide redesign, maintenance systems, performance monitoring and maintains a system for web content management, instituting rules and procedures and different levels of permissions for users.

Chandra Hall, MBA,DREI,ABR,CRS,GRI,Green,SFR,REOS, CDPE, Director of Instruction

Starting college at age 16, Chandra completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business. In 1993 she founded and operated Innovative Funding, a corporate and non-profit resource partner collaborating with leaders of corporations and non-profit organizations. In 1997, she joined forces with J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc., in Wichita, Kansas specializing in residential real estate. After completing a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2000, she became an adjunct instructor for her alma mater followed by a real estate instructor and in 2008, Chandra was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) designation.

In addition to being a CRS instructor, Chandra also teaches GRI and ABR courses for real estate groups across the nation. She is the managing broker/owner of Colorado Mesa Realty, LLC, is successful in several aspects of real estate – from residential resale to land development and building new homes and has been recognized as the designer and creative consultant on three award winning Parade Homes in Colorado Springs.

Athena Flierl, Instructor

Athena started her real estate career in the early 90’s as a weekend receptionist. The energy exhibited by the agents as they helped people with their real estate needs convinced Athena to become a Realtor and she became licensed in 1996.  Athena, like other Realtors, rode the great wave of real estate boom during the late 90’s.

Athena enjoyed her part-time job as a Realtor while working a full-time corporate job. In 2001 she became inactive in real estate sales to start a family. Seven years and three daughters later, her family found themselves outgrowing their house so Athena reactivated her license to sell their home and purchase a bigger one. As she entered back into real estate, she was shocked to see a market much different than the one she left in 2001.

In late 2007, the nation spiraled into a financial crisis that devastated the real estate market for several years. Early recognition of the distress many homeowners were facing coupled with her deep level of compassion for their situation created an urgency for Athena to seek ways to help families regain financial stability.

Athena acquired the education and subsequent designations to help those in need. Becoming a Certified Distressed Property Expert(CDPE), Short Sale Representative(SFR) and a Real Estate Owned Specialist(REOs), Athena was armed with the tools necessary to help families in financial distress.

While many Realtors were touting high short sale numbers, Athena was helping homeowners avoid foreclosure. In many cases, allowing them to keep their homes through loan modification success.  Today, Athena considers saving families from foreclosure and home loss as her greatest career accomplishments.

Real estate markets, lending laws, and interest rates can change in a blink of an eye.  Constants you can always count on are Athena’s compassion, her genuine desire to help people, and her deep love and knowledge of real estate.

Athena’s clients are a testament to her commitment of service and dedication to each one of them.  Since 2010, Athena has been awarded Franchise Quality Service Awards and Top Producer Awards.  In addition, her clients have voted for her as one of Denver’s Top Real Estate Agents as featured in 5280 Magazine from 2011 – 2014.  An accomplishment only 7% of practicing Real Estate Agents achieve.

Athena looks forward to many more years of helping people hear her three favorite words, “Clear to Close”.

John Gillam, Executive Director Strategic Partnership Program

While attending the University of New Mexico from 1991 – 1994, John worked with the School Of Continuing Education, Division of Multicultural Education providing Prevention Education and assisting in the development of programs for Peer Education Programs throughout the state of NM. After graduating from UNM in 1994, he went on to work in social services in a variety of programs as a consultant, including Gang Disengagement education, GED education, developed Life Skills programs for incarcerated teens, oversaw a tobacco cessation program for the State Of NM, was a health care administrator for both in home and facility based health care services and case management. Prior to moving to Colorado in 2000, he worked to open group homes for both a medically fragile population as well as group homes for people with developmental disabilities that had been placed for criminal behaviors (both populations had previously lived in the NM State Hospital until its closure under the Jackson Class Law Suit).

When John moved to NM in 2000, it was to manage a small real estate firm in Durango, CO. He began providing real estate education through The Real Estate College of Colorado in 2005 providing Pre-License education. Since that time he has developed classes on Real Estate Contracts, Due Diligence, Agency Vs. Transaction Brokerage and has instructed the CREC Annual Update Class and continues to instruct on these areas presently.

Kay Bigley, Director of Regulatory Compliance

Kay is a government agency compliance professional with extensive experience with registrations, filings and regulatory relations. She has over 20 years administrative experience with exceptional organizational skills, committed to details and quality work product, solid knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipment. Kay is skilled at anticipating problems and affecting their resolution with a take charge attitude and ability to drive results as an impactful team player. As a tax administrator with a decade of experience she performed a variety of administrative tax related duties complex in nature, requiring limited exercise of discretion and judgment to meet established priorities. She maintained registration and filings of 430 business licenses and annual report filings along with other permits and licenses required by Federal, State and Local jurisdictions.
